You know those moments - you walk into an event, venue, store, hotel or restaurant and you’re completely encompassed by the space you’re in? A beautiful exchange happens as we experience a space that has perfectly executed its brief.

Ironically - it’s taken me a while to understand that this, in its simplest form, is my true passion, and that my practical skill set has been born and honed from this desire.

This passion initially drew me towards my career as an event designer and manager, where I spent over a decade spearheading major conference concepts that host thousands of delegates across Australia. During that time, I grew not-for-profit social justice conferences by 150% over 3 years. I worked on events hosting incredible key-note speakers like Virgin founder Richard Branson, blind professional surfer Derek Rabelo, and ThankYou Group founders Daniel and Justine Flynn, as well as many other international thought-leaders and consultants. I learnt that I excel in bringing well-aligned partnerships together, whether it was securing substantial ongoing event sponsorships or connecting premier wine producers to bespoke venues.

The more events I executed, the more fascinated I became by the principles of space planning, ambiance creation, and how these apply across industries. I started to discover the interconnectedness of successful design—the tangible aspects of interior styling and space planning, alongside the intangible ambiance that truly elevates a space.

This led me to explore event and design principles in alternative ways. I partnered with luxury retail brands to create boutique consumer experiences, and optimised retail spaces with improved visual merchandising practices to drive revenues.

I am an events specialist, and will always keenly be holistically exploring how the spaces we design in our lives, brands and business, enable us to execute and deliver briefs that are on brand, and in line with our goals.
